Surfari's Internet Explorer v5.01 for Windows 3.1 and NT 3.51.
Place this file in a temporary directory than open
the "file" menu and choose "run" the file "IE501_16.EXE.
This will extract all
the files in the archive to a directory on your PC called
C:\Surfari. Open the file menu once again and select "Run"
and browse to the Surfari directory, select the "Setup.Exe"
and then "Ok". This will start the setup program.
Trumpet Winsock Scripts for use on
Surfari.Net
Surfari.Net Trumpet Winsock Install
Program. This will install Winsock
on your system, create a folder called
Surfari and have all the proper scripts
for connecting to Surfari.Net. BE SURE
to run the Setup program in Winsock
the first time you run it to setup you
modem ComPort properly.
NOTE-This is a self-extracting archive,
put it on a floppy disk or in a directory
on your hardrive and run TWSKINST.EXE, this
will unpack the setup program.
Secure Shell is a program for Windows that allows you to telnet into a server
that supports encrypted sessions. This program is required for you to telnet
into SURFARI.NET servers. No support is given for this program.
This is a support library for use with Secure Shell, you may need to install
it for use with the above Secure Shell program (it is not required for the
WIN95/98 version).
- Windows 95/98/ME/2000 Specific Files -
Internet Explorer version 5.50. This is Surfari Internet's
installation of Internet Explorer. It contains the
Browser, Outlook Mail & News and other multimedia enhancements.
Download the file to a temporary directory on your hardrive. When
it is complete, select your "Start" button then "Run" then use the
"Browse" function to locate the file IE55.EXE. Run this file, this will
extract all the files in the archive into a directory call C:\Surfari. After
this is complete, select "Start" again and go to the C:\Surfari directory
and select the file IE5SETUP.EXE, this will start the installation
process. -(Windows 95, 98, ME and 2000)-
Internet Explorer version 6.0. This is Surfari Internet's
installation of Internet Explorer. It contains the

Internet configuration disk for Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME & XP.
Download this file into a temporary directory (folder) on your hard drive.
Run the program surfari01c.exe, this
will unzip all the files in this archive unto your hard drive in a directory called
c:\surfari. To setup the program, click your "Start" button, then "Run" and type in
the text entry area c:\surfari\dunnow.exe and click Ok. Follow the on screen instructions. (11/9/01)

This program is designed to defuse the "Pretty Park.exe" virus on a WIN95/98
computer. It won't prevent you from receiving the virus, but it will get rid of it once you have been infected.
